Resilience Runners Ambassador Program

1. Program Overview

The Resilience Runners Ambassador Program empowers committed members to represent Resilience Runners, grow the community, and lead with consistency, positivity, and resilience. Ambassadors act as local representatives who help organize runs, support members, and strengthen connections with local races and events.

2. Program Purpose

  • Grow Resilience Runners through trusted community leaders

  • Increase participation in weekly runs and activities

  • Build leadership and ownership within the group

  • Strengthen visibility at local races and marathons

  • Reward commitment and contribution

3. Who Is an Ambassador

A Resilience Runners Ambassador is:

  • A consistent and reliable runner

  • A positive role model in the community

  • A welcoming and supportive leader

  • A representative of Resilience Runners values

4. Ambassador Responsibilities

Ambassadors are expected to:

  • Represent Resilience Runners at runs, races, and events

  • Help organize and lead weekly runs

  • Support regular sessions:

    • Sunday: 7:30 AM – Marina

    • Wednesday: 5:00 PM – Marina

  • Welcome and support new runners

  • Promote Resilience Runners on Strava and Meetup

  • Encourage runners to join local races and challenges

  • Organize occasional community activities (social runs, coffee meetups, challenges)

5. Ambassador Benefits

Ambassadors receive:

  • Free entry to selected local races and marathons

  • Recognition on Resilience Runners platforms

  • Priority access to events and initiatives

  • Leadership experience and community exposure

  • Official Resilience Runners Ambassador status

6. Eligibility Requirements

To become an ambassador, members should:

  • Be an active Resilience Runners participant

  • Attend runs consistently

  • Align with the group’s culture and values

  • Be approachable, respectful, and reliable

  • Commit to supporting or leading at least one weekly run or activity

7. Selection Process

  • Members may apply or be nominated

  • Selection based on consistency, attitude, and contribution

  • Approval by Resilience Runners leadership

  • Roles reviewed periodically to ensure alignment

8. Activities Led by Ambassadors

  • Weekly group runs

  • Beginner-friendly introduction runs

  • Social and coffee runs

  • Community challenges (consistency streaks)

  • Local race meet-ups and group participation

9. Code of Conduct

Ambassadors must:

  • Be inclusive and welcoming to all runners

  • Prioritize safety and wellbeing

  • Communicate clearly and respectfully

  • Represent Resilience Runners positively at all times

10. Success Measures

The program will be considered successful if it achieves:

  • Increased weekly run attendance

  • Growth in Strava and Meetup followers

  • Strong ambassador engagement and retention

  • Positive feedback from the running community

11. Long-Term Vision

The Ambassador Program will create a strong leadership network that allows Resilience Runners to grow sustainably, support more runners, and build a long-lasting running culture based on resilience, consistency, and community.
