Resilience Runners Organizers

1. Program Overview

The Resilience Runners Organizers Program is designed to support the growth of our running community by empowering dedicated members to help organize, lead, and support group activities. Organizers play a key role in creating a welcoming, consistent, and safe running environment for all runners.

2. Program Purpose

The Organizers Program aims to:

  • Support and grow weekly group runs

  • Ensure consistency and reliability in activities

  • Create a welcoming experience for new runners

  • Build community through running and social activities

  • Share responsibility and leadership within Resilience Runners

3. Who Is an Organizer

A Resilience Runners Organizer is:

  • A consistent participant in group runs

  • A supportive and approachable community member

  • Someone willing to help with coordination and leadership

  • A positive representative of the Resilience Runners culture

4. Organizer Responsibilities

Organizers are expected to:

  • Help lead and support weekly runs

  • Assist during regular sessions:

    • Sunday: 7:30 AM – Marina

    • Wednesday: 5:00 PM – Marina

  • Welcome new runners and help them feel included

  • Support pacing, safety, and group coordination

  • Help communicate run details on Strava, Meetup, or WhatsApp

  • Assist in organizing:

    • Social runs

    • Coffee meetups

    • Beginner-friendly sessions

    • Community challenges

5. Organizer Benefits

Organizers receive:

  • Recognition within the Resilience Runners community

  • Priority access to group activities and initiatives

  • Leadership and team-building experience

  • A stronger sense of ownership and contribution

  • Opportunities to grow into future leadership roles

6. Eligibility Requirements

To become an Organizer, members should:

  • Be an active and consistent Resilience Runners participant

  • Align with the group’s values and culture

  • Be reliable, respectful, and approachable

  • Be willing to support or lead at least one activity regularly

7. Selection Process

  • Members may volunteer or be invited

  • Selection is based on consistency, attitude, and contribution

  • Approval by Resilience Runners leadership

  • Roles are reviewed periodically

8. Activities Led by Organizers

Organizers may help with:

  • Weekly group runs

  • Beginner introduction runs

  • Social and recovery runs

  • Coffee and community meetups

  • Local race meet-ups

9. Code of Conduct

Organizers must:

  • Be inclusive and welcoming to all runners

  • Prioritize safety and wellbeing

  • Communicate clearly and respectfully

  • Represent Resilience Runners positively

10. Success Measures

The Organizers Program will be successful if it leads to:

  • Strong and consistent weekly run attendance

  • Positive feedback from runners

  • Active and reliable organizer participation

  • A supportive and connected community

11. Long-Term Vision

The Organizers Program will help Resilience Runners grow sustainably by sharing leadership, strengthening community bonds, and ensuring that every run reflects our values of resilience, consistency, and support.

  • Organizers can support activities based on their availability.
